On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the City of Bowie lit up with joy, pride, and powerful purpose at the annual Juneteenth Jubilee Festival, and The Vitamin Suite was honored to be right at the heart of it all.
Held at 3330 Northview Dr., this citywide celebration of freedom, culture, and community was a vibrant six-hour experience filled with music, laughter, education, and love. From the moment the festival opened at 4PM until the final cheers echoed at 10PM, the energy was electric, and we were thrilled to be a part of such an unforgettable day.
Showing Up in Elegance & Empowerment
Our founder, Lakel Ebb, arrived with the signature grace and glow she’s known for. Dressed in all her elegance and strength, she brought with her what The Vitamin Suite stands for—holistic health, Black excellence, and the power of healing through wellness.
With a beautifully arranged stall showcasing our products and services, Lakel connected with festival-goers who were curious, inspired, and excited to learn more about how they could start (or continue) their wellness journeys right here in Bowie.
Light, Laughter & Wellness Conversations
Visitors to our booth were excited to explore our offerings – from IV hydration therapy and booster shots, to our now-famous Red Light Therapy Mask. In fact, guests stopped by to try the mask on and were fascinated by how soothing, futuristic, and skin-friendly it felt. The genuine interest and feedback warmed our hearts.
Lakel also answered dozens of questions about natural weight loss, recovery, hydration, and how The Vitamin Suite is making it easier for the Bowie community to access the kind of health support that used to take a 45-minute drive to another county.
A True Celebration of Freedom
Beyond the business and the booth, this day was about something deeper. Juneteenth is more than a holiday – it’s a powerful reminder of our collective journey toward liberation. Being part of a celebration that centered Black joy, resilience, and cultural pride was not only moving—it was aligned with everything The Vitamin Suite stands for.
From soulful music performances to mouthwatering local cuisine, college outreach, and family-friendly fun, the festival reminded us all that wellness is freedom, and we are committed to making that freedom accessible to our community every day.
